It was not just all about boring facts and statistics to bore and belittle our generation, but it did come with an eye-opener.

My thoughts on the matter were definitely reevaluated upon leaving the seminar… (it) gave me a new perspective on relationships and has made me gain a better self-respect for myself and any person that I may become involved with.

I learned that discipline will take you far and help you with other things in your relationship besides sex.

It helped me understand the choices I must make as a young woman. Not only must my decision’s be carefully thought through, but they must be God centered.

I’m glad so many people were there to hear the truth about love. When I first considered going to the seminar, I wasn’t sure about the impact that it would have on me, if any. But from the seminar I took with me the true meaning of love. Love with your heart and show it through action.

I definitely know more and I will be watching my boyfriend and listening carefully and letting all the ladies know what to look for. I learned that love takes time and there’s no need to rush.

Thank you so much for being a life model of a beautiful family. My parents have divorced and I never had a positive relationship to model after. I knew what I did not want in a relationship and that is what my parents had. But since I have heard you speak, my girlfriend and I have followed your ideas and kept God a part of our relationship and it has been beautiful.

It gave the students an opportunity to be informed and entertained at the same time. It was highly needed and greatly appreciated.

Many African American families don’t make it as a family due to divorces, children out of wedlock, and no real leader in our relationships. As a child coming from a woman head of the house made me not want to be like my father but more of a family guy. But I tend to loose track of family goals in college. This presentation made me realize I don’t want my children to go through the things I went through.
